Early elementary art should give children a clear sense of the basic elements of art but it should also be FUN! Your child will learn about color, line, shape, texture, and space through exciting and dynamic projects: sculpt a donut, create a spider web installation, design Tiny Art trading cards, and use your entire body as a paintbrush!
Young elementary students need fun extra curricular activities but they also need more time to PLAY, the freedom to get MESSY, and the chance to be outside in NATURE! Tiny Art Class is a weekly two hour after-school art class for Kinder - 3rd grade designed to fulfill those needs. Class takes place in Griffith Park, surrounded by redwoods, hiking trails, and all kinds of beautiful tiny creatures. The children begin each class with free play, before participating in a structured art class that focuses on open-ended projects. After clean-up the children will have time leftover to continue with self-directed projects or play with their friends.
Tiny Art Class is a weekly after-school art class . Class is once a week for 8 weeks and families can choose either Tuesdays 2:00-4:00 or Thursdays 3:00-4:45. Currently we have space available in the Thursday class.
Each 8 week session is $480 or $440 per child for siblings. Tuition is payable by Venmo, Zelle, cash, or check.
